Ryan and I wanted to spend a relaxing weekend away from home (but not too far away, just in case) before Kylie was born. We were lucky enough to borrow a friend's grandparent's house in Bodega Bay for the three day weekend in February. Little did we know, that would be our last weekend just the two of us.
It was a perfect weekend. The weather was amazing and we enjoyed every minute. We slept in every morning, played Scrabble on the deck overlooking the ocean, walked on the beach, got massages, and ate fresh fish each night (one night Ryan prepared fresh halibut and the other night we went to a nice dinner). We were also able to see some college friends on Sunday night for a BBQ at the house. Overall, it was a super relaxing weekend... just what we wanted. And just in time, considering Kylie was born the very next weekend!
